Ringworm is very hard to remove. It can take months to continue treatment. Have a black light test? There are different types of lichens, and all appear under black light.

I never wanted to ketoconazole for tinea ... too many side effects on the liver to be worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteRingworm is a fungus. Disappear with an anti-fungal single ... oral medication is not needed!
You need better information to your veterinarian about what your dog!
If it miconazole to my dog, I want only to be used, and if that does not work, I turned to tolnaftate. That's just me though.
ReplyDeleteIt takes time to clarify ringworm. If it seems to be infected and then clavamox for help, but otherwise there is no reason to use it.
